The Diamond Academy (DA) is the perfect introduction to the Travel Soccer Program for players interested in progressing their skills in a competitive, local environment.  It is also a good choice for a player who is looking for more technical training and a bit more competition than the House Program.

The Diamond Academy is a birth year program. Any player born in 2012 or 2013 is eligible to take part in the Diamond Academy Program for the 2019-20 Soccer Year, irrespective of ability.  At these formative years, we want to expose as many players to the game in a situation where they can develop technically while still having fun!

Each year, The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Soccer Club (SPFSC) holds evaluations for players (called Diamond Academy Clinics) to play in the Diamond Academy.  These evaluations are not tryouts - rather, the evaluation process is meant to observe players in order to decide how to best form teams.  The Diamond Academy trainers try to form equal teams in order to create a more competitive environment for every player in the program.

The next Diamond year begins in September, 2019.
